MZB, recognized as one of the leading accessory companies, has been designing and manufacturing some of the world’s most renowned timepieces for nearly 60 years. In 1950, Michael Zachary Berger and Joseph Mermelstein had a vision to create quality watches and opened a small showroom off 5th Avenue opposite Lord & Taylor. Several years later, Joseph Mermelstein took over the business and expanded the company by selling watches to various retailers.

In 1970, his son Bernie Mermelstein joined the company and proceeded to grow the business by expanding sales to large corporations and major retailers. He also began new brands and licenses, focusing on product innovation and expanding into new channels of distribution. Under today’s leadership, the company has grown into one of the preeminent timepiece and accessory manufacturers in the industry.
